This project started early 2013 when I first collected some of my Instagram pictures from the year before and put them in the same picture as polaroids hanging on a rope.
Since then I have continued to add Instagram pictures as another rope every January, carefully choosing the ones representing my life the past year. It's not always big events, but pieces of memories building the year. So far I have 2012-2014.

2012 represents a bit of a change in my life. That's why I wanted to create something that said "this is me now". And that's also why I continued adding the years after that. Every year has something to offer and a story to be told. And it's great to have this picture to look back on. It's who I am.
